Account Manager – Paint Specialists

Australian Brushware Corporation (ABC) is a leading and one of the world’s largest manufacturer and wholesaler of painting tools and accessories, particularly hand made paint brushes. Along with our comprehensive national sales team, a key strength is our ability to supply retail customers directly as a manufacturer rather than as an importer or marketer of goods.

ABC has enviable relationships with key customers in the industry and is currently experiencing rapid sales growth. We are seeking an Account Manager to grow our market share within the “Paint Specialist” retail channels through out Australia.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will ideally have demonstrated a winning sales history within the paint or hardware industry, and has strong relationships with key retailers. Beyond managing your customer portfolio in a profitable manner, some initial business development initiatives include:

  1. Developing growth business plans with key customer groups.
  2. Identifying sales growth opportunities that reduce channel conflict
  3. Identifying, developing and implementing new product ranges.
  4. Implementing new initiatives with field sales team.
  5. Implementing trade marketing initiatives through key customer groups

An entrepreneurial eye, data analysis, communication skills, an ability to build strong rapport and networking well with internal and external customers, are critical success components for this role.
